Daniele Baldelli: A Cosmic Life
Every story has its founding fathers. Daniele Baldelli is “the quintessential Italian DJ,” the creator of the “cosmic sound,” who has made at least four generations of young people dance in iconic venues such as Cosmic, Baia degli Angeli, and Fura.
The documentary, through Baldelli’s life, offers a snapshot of society in a journey through time that begins in the 1960s and arrives at the present day. Club music is a true culture made of languages, collective rituals, lights, and shadows, finding its home in the night, beyond time, yet capable of representing every era.
