Never Sleep charity tape series continues with one of dance music’s most uncanny love affairs.

Glaswegian savant Jackmaster renowned as the UK’s best DJ / sequencer and praised for his ability to seamlessly mix any genre, articulates his passion for Italian electro impresario Lory D. Recorded rapid fire style in early 2024 (possibly the last mix he recorded) and features rarities, boundless energy and some field recordings from the maestros many trips to Glasgow.

Lory D and Glasgow city entanglement started in early 2007 when a young Jack hunted him down to release on his earlier labels. Lory D went on to become a mainstay and cult like figure in Glasgow’s bubbling electronic scene having released seminal records on NMBRS and key performances across the city.

This tape was released posthumously after our friend Jack passed away in 2024.
